HEY 14!

First of all, Happy 2006! (Yeah I'm about two weeks late, but doesn't really matter...see below for that which matters.)

Wenyu (02a14) is trying to compile a commerative book for the HCJC Humanities Program and we need your help here. The exact format of the publication is not confirmed as we are awaiting funding - it could come from the school, but that would mean being subjected to some degree of self censorship, or it could be a self-funded but expensive book.

Whichever it is, the purpose of this project is the same - to chronicle the history of this program. So the content, and not the presentation, is the key here.

We need content. Any sort, preferably some kind of personal reflection. Feel free to be creative.

Some questions to get you started:
a) What do you feel was most beneficial from your experience in the Humanities Programme?
b) How did the Humanities Programme influence how you chose to spend your time in university?
c) How, in any way, has the Humanities Programme influenced you in your present or past jobs, or in what you choose to do today?
d) Describe a moment in your time in the Humanities Programme that you will always remember and/or treasure?
e) Do you have any particular views about the Humanities Programme?
f) Any comments about the Programme AND/OR about what you have chosen to do with your life in Uni or after Uni (may not be Humanities related)
g) Tutors - likes, dislikes (hmm?), their quirks etc

If you happen to have interesting/scandalous/simply bizarre photographs, please provide a url link (such as to flickr), but do also ensure that you have it in a resolution good enough for printing.

You're welcome to write your reflections/post your drawings/photos etc etc on this blog. Alternatively you can always email me (zhipeng -at- gmail d0t c0m) or johnny (ndpfanatic -at- gmail d0t c0m) or zhong kai (koh dot tongkai -at- gmail d0t c0m).

Time is tight, this is but the first stage. As busy as you might be, please try to submit everything (ie post here or email) by 10th March?

Thanks, and take care!
